RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan’s visit to South America has been postponed. Armenian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Argentine Mr. Vladimir Karmirshalyan told Radio Liberty that Nalbandyan had reasonable excuse for that: “Due to political events in Armenia and the region, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan decided to postpone his official visit (planed for July 30-August 7) to Argentine, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile for the indefinite term.”

The visit might be shifted to the end of the year. Nalbandyan’s recent statements on Karabakh issue and Armenian-Turkish relations stirred live interest in Armenian community of Argentine.
