February 10, the Primate of the Diocese of Gougark of the Armenian Apostolic church Bishop Sebouh Chouldjian arrived in Istanbul, Armenian Constantinople patriarchy informs.

On arrival, the bishop was met by the local clergy and escorted to Patriarch’s residence.

February 11, Head of Religious Council of the Armenian Patriarchate, Archbishop Aram Ateshyan met with Chouldjian. In the course of the meeting, the forthcoming co-patriarch’s elections and particularly efforts necessary for their holding were discussed.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, co-Patriarch’s elections aroused indignation of Armenian Diaspora in Turkey.
