February 16, OSCE Chairman-in Office and Kazakh Secretary of State-Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev arrived in Tbilisi within the framework of the regional visit. He will hold meetings with Georgian Foreign Minister Grogol Vashadze, Parliament Speaker David Bakradze and representatives of political parties.

In the course of the visit OSCE Chairman-in Office will discuss security issues, as well as situation in Abkhazian and South Ossetian conflict zone, Georgian Deputy FM Nino Kalandadze stated in Feb. 15 briefing.

“OSCE Chairman-in Office, Kazakh FM’s visit to Georgia is of great significance, as Russian-Georgian relations, as well as the constant infringement of agreements by Russia should be examined in a full and thorough manner,” Leader of Georgian Christian-Democratic Movement Giorgi Targamadze stated.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Feb. 14, OSCE Chairman-in Office and Kazakh Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev started his visit to South Caucasus. He arrived in Armenia and Azerbaijan and held meetings with the two states’ Presidents, FMs and other high-ranking officials.

The purpose of the visit is the achievement of certain progress in protracted regional conflicts and looking for possible ways to settle them, OSCE website reads.
