Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili does not rule out the probability of armed conflicts’ resumption in the regions adjacent to western and northern borders.

Speaking at the Chatham House in London (known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs) he said that “new invasion is possible.”

Georgian President also compared himself with former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, stating that he is taken as “hot and combative, like Churchill once was for the U.S,” ITAR TASS reports.

Saakashvili also declared that in the closest time Georgian military units will appear in Hilmend province of Afghanistan, where currently U.S. and British forces conduct large scale operations.
