RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and UN Resident Coordinator Consuelo Vidal signed an agreement on Development Assistance program in Armenia US$72 million worth for 2010-2015.

PM said the loan will be allotted for Armenia’s sustainable development (33%), equal access to social opportunities, development of democratic institutions, and environment protection programs.

“It is crucial that UN programs devote significant attention to proportional development and spread of democratic institutions in regions of Armenia. Community development programs are also critical and are in included in 2010-2015 program”, Sargsyan stated.

Ms Vidal declared that the document is UN joint action plan with involvement of all 14 units in Armenia, each fulfilling the project in the frames of mentioned program.
