February 23, RA Parliament elects Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights by secret ballot. The only candidate put in by ARF Dashnaktsutyun faction, “Prosperous Armenia” and “Rule of Law” parties is Aram Safaryan, Secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
Addressing his colleagues, Safaryan promised to deal with respect with any issue of Armenian citizen. He also said that will follow principles of respect, cooperation and tolerance if elected.
