NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with the Police Board members headed by Chief of Police Robert Shaferyan. According to NEWS.am, the H1 2009 police operational activities were summarized at the Central Information Department of NKR President Office.

The President appreciated positively the police activities, underlining that crime rate in the country has decreased.

He also pointed out the necessity of personnel rejuvenation and instructed to improve facilities and equipment of the police department. Marat Musaelyan, NKR Security Council Secretary, was also present at the meeting.
