Kyrgyzstan Central Election Commission officially announced Kurmanbek Bakiev the president of Kyrgyzstan. Bakiev won the race with 76,43% votes.
The United Opposition candidate Almazbek Atambayev polled 8,39% votes. Temir Sariev, the Leader of Ak-Shumkar party is rated third. Jengishbek Nazaraliev, Nurlan Motuev, Toktayym Umotalieva were also nominated.
Kirghiz Opposition states that presidential election results were falsified and intends to appeal results by making protest actions.
