Turkish Gunluk newspaper cheif news Ramazan Pekgoz was threatened by unknown approached to him in the street, Turkish bianet.org reads.

“We finished Hrant Dink off. We will do the same to you,” the man said.

After Pekgoz applied to Istanbul police, the assaulter was arrested.

According to the journalist, the unknown was following him on the sidewalk on the way to his office on Feb. 28 morning. Pelgoz maintains that when asked the pursuer why he is followed, the man replied: “This is a street, I am just walking.”

Police found that the suspect, 33, born in Canakkale was previously arrested for theft.
