Another 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit Elazig Province, eastern Turkey on March 8 at 9:47 a.m. local time, RIA Novosti reports.

U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake epicenter was 25 km south-west from the city of Bingol (Turkey) at the depth of 10 kilometers. No information about victims and destructions available.

The death toll of the earthquake hitting Turkey several hours earlier reached 57, about 50 others are hospitalized. Several buildings and minarets in several settlements collapsed.
