The captive Armenian conscript gave a cause to Azerbaijani mass media to launch a new wave of anti-Armenian hysteria.

RA National Security Service press centre informed NEWS.am, that an Azerbaijani military expert stated the “starvation and prospects to settle down in Europe” impelled the soldier to do so.

Six of them were sent to third countries through the ICRC assistance and UN High Commissioner for Refugees, whereas the two are still in Armenia and refuse to return to Azerbaijan. Armenian side never made speculations or politicized this fact, like Azerbaijani &‘experts’ do.
