YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received newly appointed Mexico’s Ambassador to Armenia Ruben Alberto Beltran Guerrero who handed in the copy of his credentials.

President Sargsyan congratulated Ambassador on his appointment, expressing hope that he would do everything to develop and deepen relations between the states during his mission. The sides noted importance of the mutual visits, active contacts in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The Armenian leader noted that his country is willing to develop relationship with Mexico, and the best proof is Armenia’s intention to establish resident embassy in Mexico.

President Sargsyan and the Ambassador underscored importance of parliamentary diplomacy for strengthening of bilateral relations.
