YEREVAN. – Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) on Tuesday is leaving for a five-day visit to the U.S. to participate in the meeting of the Board of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Arthur Javadyan will participate in the plenary session and meeting of the Holland subgroup countries.

CBA chairman will hold meetings with Masood Ahmed, IMF Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department, Carlos Medeiros, Division Chief, Monetary and Capital Markets Department, and heads of the central banks and other financial institutions.

Arthur Javadyan is expected to meet with the representative of Bureau Veritas, global leader in testing, inspection and certification. The Central Bank of Armenia received ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate from Bureau Veritas Certification after it successfully passed audit in 2012.
