March 25, Turkish and Russian Interior Ministers — Besir Atalay and Rashid Nurgaliev discussed the issues on cooperation in law-enforcement field. In the course of the meeting in Ankara, the officials also touched upon main provisions of the bilateral agreement to be signed in the course of Russian President’s forthcoming visit to Turkey, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Nurgaliev, the planned agreement will aim at countering organized crime, terrorism and drug traffic. The final drafting of the document will be ready in April, Atalay noted.

RF Interior Minister will also meet with Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and visit police academy.
