YEREVAN. – The Armenian parliament on Thursday started debates on EU-Armenia visa facilitation agreement that was signed in Brussels on December 17, 2012.
Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan presented the agreement, noting that its goal is to ease “trip to Europe for noble purposes.” The parliament is also discussing the agreement on the readmission of persons residing without authorization.
European Parliament backed an EU-Armenia visa facilitation agreement on October 9.
