YEREVAN. – The cooperation between Armenia and France is continuously developing in virtually all domains.  

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated the aforementioned Saturday during his talk with Mayor of Marseille, Senator Jean-Claude Gaudin, who has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.   

In this context, Sargsyan also underscored the mutual visits, and expressed confidence that the Gaudin-led delegation’s visit to Armenia will give new impetus to the strengthening of Armenian-French relations.   

In the President’s words, numerous joint projects are being brought to life by in a variety of domains.  

On his part, the mayor of Marseille briefed Sargsyan on the results of his Yerevan talks which, in his words, will contribute to the deepening of cooperation, and he noted that his delegation also includes the representatives of Marseille’s business community.  

In addition, Jean-Claude Gaudin welcomed the founding of the Consulate General of Armenia in Marseille.
