RA Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko refuted the press reports on the deportation of ethnic Caucasians from Russia immediately after the terrorist acts in the Moscow Underground.

Press reports on alleged appeals for expelling ethnic Caucasians appeared after the terrorist acts. At his meeting with journalists, Ambassador Kovalenko commented on the information.

“Do not believe the press. The perpetrators of the terrorist act are monsters. But the natives of the North and South Caucasus have nothing in common with them. They are inhuman monsters, and there is no room for them on this earth,” Kovalenko said.

“One million of Armenians or Georgians live is Russia, let them live, work and prosper. These unbreakable ties have always been between the Russian and Caucasian peoples, and no terrorist will be able to break it,” the Russian Ambassador said.
