Former Italian Ambassador to Armenia Marco Clemente adopted an Armenian boy. Marco Clemente completed his mission in Armenia in 2007, holding the post for four years.
Marco Clemente started a lasting process of the adoption in European countries after he returned to Italy. When he qualified for wardship, the issue of choosing a child arose, the Clemente couple decided to adopt a child from Armenia. Presently they are in Armenia and wander around with a 1.5-year-old child, NEWS. am informs.
