On August 3, at 10:05 p.m. (Moscow time) three mortar shots were shelled at South Ossetian Otrev village from Georgian Plavi village. According to South Ossetian defense Minister Yuri Tanaev one mine was fired in the outskirts of the village. No victims or ravages had been reported.
In end of July, 2009 Georgian side commenced shelling South Ossetia.
