On April 14, remembrance ceremony on the 95th commemoration of Armenian Genocide victims was held in Canada. Members of Canadian Parliament, accredited Ambassadors and Canadian-Armenian organizations attended the event.

Official representatives of Canadian Conservative, Liberal, New Democratic Parties and Bloc Québécois (BQ), Canadian Minister of Education, Armenian actress Arsine Khanjyan as well as a genocide expert Steven Jacobs delivered speeches, RA Foreign Ministry press service informed NEWS.am.

RA Charge d’affaires ad interim to Canada Arman Hakobyan thanked Canadian authorities for the official recognition of Armenian Genocide and constructive posture in Armenia-Turkey relations.

On April 24, the remembrance ceremony of genocide martyrs will be held in RA Embassy in Canada.
