April 24, RA President Serzh Sargsyan and his spouse visited Armenian Genocide memorial –Tsitsernakaberd.

President was accompanied by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Premier Tigran Sargsyan, ministers, MPs, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, military officials, Armenian Diaspora representatives, numerous guests who came to pay tribute to the memory of Genocide victims, intellectuals and workers of culture.

Ecumenical service was held in the St. Gregory the Ilumminator Cathedral (Surp Grigor Lusavorich).

The day before RA President Serzh Sargsyan addressed the nation, saying that Armenia will continue its struggle for international recognition of Genocide.
