A severe earthquake of 6. 5 magnitude rocked the area south from Japan. No victims and destructions are reported, RIA “Novosti” informs referring to AFP.

Epicentre of the earthquake striking at 9:18 local time (4:18 Moscow time) is at the depth of 30 km in the Pacific ocean, near Miyako island.There is no tsunami wave hazard.

Meanwhile, Russian mass media inform of severe earthquake shocks in Tuva. Baykal Seismological Centre recorded earthhquake 7 point shocks, 270 km far from Lake Hupsugul.

According to preliminary data no victims and distructions were reported.
