RA Parliament adopted a bill on amendments to the RA NA regulations and legal acts in its first reading.

According to the documents, a right to make decisions on the use of weapon in emergency situations is henceforth granted to the National Assembly, not the Government. Currently, there is no legislative act regulating the usage procedure in Armenia; the law operating in USSR times was nullified back in 2006. The draftsman, RA National Assembly Vice-Speaker Samvel Nikoyan said the problem became urgent after the March 1 events. To avoid a similar situation henceforth, the MPs decided to take the regulation of the use of weapon.
