Iran intends to hold navy maneuvers in Persian Gulf area.
According to Iranian naval forces commander Habibollah Sayari, the 8-day maneuvers starting Wednesday include combat ships, submarines and operational aircraft units.
These are the second military exercises conducted by Iran within last month near its southern costs.
