A new program has been introduced in January, 2010 allowing Armenian citizens to track their letters to the Government, ministries and administrations through the governmental website, head of Citizens’ Applications consideration department at the RA government Alexander Ghazaryan told NEWS.am. Presently, all these bodies are connected to a generic system, where entering a 12-digit tracking number, the applicant can trace the course of his letter.

“The letter should not be necessarily addressed to the Government, it can be sent to the regional administration, but the applicant can track it through the governmental website, writing the administration name and typing the 12-digit number,” the official said. Thus, the citizens learn the name of contact person who is dealing with the application, executor’s name and date of expected reply.
