The Turkish Grand National Assembly elected Mehmet Ali Sahin, Justice and Development Party MP, Parliament Speaker with 338 votes, the Turkish Zaman daily reports.
During yesterday’s two turns none of the candidates got the necessary 367 votes and after today’s third turn Mehmet Ali Sahin was elected Parliament Speaker.
