Armenia is celebrating International Children\\\'s Day. RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan congratulated children on the Day, stressing that the RA Government does its utmost for the protection of children’s social rights. “The children are our future,” he said.

According to him, a number of programs are being implemented for the children living both in families and state institutions.

The Government is creating conditions for children to become full-fledged members of society, the Minister’s message reads.

International Children’s Day has been celebrated annually on June 1 since 1950.

The Congress of the Women\\\'s International Democratic Federation (WIDF) in Paris proclaimed June 1 as International Children’s Day.
