Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II has postponed his official visit to the Georgian Orthodox Church and Georgian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church till October.

The visit was put off at the request of Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II and the Council of the Georgian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

His Holliness Karekin II will host Ilia II on October 22-23 and visit the Georgian diocese in Tbilisi and Javakhk on October 24-28, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin press service reports.
