On June 2, at the invitation of the Turkish FM, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani arrived in Ankara to hold meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. The sides will discuss issues related to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The Turkish Foreign Ministry delegation met Barzani at the airport, the Turkish Firat agency reports.

Massoud Barzani will then leave for France to meet French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner.
