Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian — Rapid Chess World Champion thanked all for congratulations.

This victory is important as Levon left behind Viswanathan Anand.

“I have being always participating in the Rapid Chess Championship with excitement, as matches here are thrilling. And I am happy I could defeat Anand, as have repeatedly stated I will challenge him after 1.5-2.5 defeat in 2007 final”, Aronian stated.

Armenian Grandmaster also spoke of his luck contributed by talent and diligence. “It is difficult to speak of it. Luck makes 10%, talent-50 % and dilligence-40% to win”.
