Armenian GM Levon Aronian will participate in a rapid chess tournament which opens in the city of Leon (Spain) on June 4.
His opponents are Boris Gelfand (Israel), Leinier Dominguez Perez (Cuba) and Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain).
The tournament has playing format of two semifinals and final match. The first semifinal between Paco Vallejo and Boris Gelfand is scheduled for June 4, while the match of Levon Aronian and Leinier Dominguez will take place on June 5.
