The Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy will hold a conference in Yerevan, June 28 – July 2.

Apart from Orthodox states the Assembly includes countries having orthodox churches, Armenia’s representative at the organization, ruling Republican Party MP Mkrtich Minasyan told NEWS.am. Thus, the representatives from Albania and number of Arabic states are expected to arrive.

A report on the role of the Armenian Apostolic church in state-building will be presented at the conference, Minsyan said.

The attendees also plan to visit the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims.
