A children’s park located on one of the isles near Istanbul was named after Hrant Dink, the chief editor of the bilingual Armenian-Turkish newspaper “Agos”, who was killed in 2007.
According to the Taraf newspaper, most of the administrative council members voted for naming the park after Hrant Dink. A memorial plague with Dink’s name will soon be put up at the entrance.
