On June 21, RA National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby discussed the Armenia-EU 2009-2011action plan.

Baghdasaryan said Armenia will actively implement all the reforms in line with the European Neighborhood Policy in 2009, the RA NSC press service informed NEWS.am.

The officials discussed the Karabakh peace process, particularly the recent provocations by Azerbaijan.  RA NSC Secretary stressed the international community should condemn them, including the Azerbaijan’s warlike statements. Semneby expressed concern over the incident, stressing it requires serious international attention.

Referring to PACE Resolution 2216, which deals with the settlement of the South Caucasus conflicts, Baghdasaryan said such resolutions and statements are biased and cast a shadow on the Karabakh peace process.

The sides also discussed issues related to regional developments.
