On August 10, 2009, An-72 aircraft of the RF Federal Security Service (FSB) opened warning light on a trespasser vessel flying a Georgian flag after lasting chasing near Kamchatka.

According to FSB, north-east border guard department, an unidentified trawler had been spotted in the Russian economic area.

The border guards determined the “Rusno” trawler was transporting live crabs. The vessel flying Georgian flag with Russian crew members on board belonged to Batumi port.

Currently the trawler is under arrest and is been escorted to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for further investigation.
