On June 23, the opening ceremony of the 4th Women’s Grand Prix will be held in Jermuk. The winner will play for the title of World Champion.

Twelve chess players will attend the tournament: Hou Yifan (China, 2589), Antoaneta Stefanova (Bulgaria, 2560), Pia Cramling (Sweden, 2536), Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia, 2534), Maia Chiburdanidze (Georgia, 2514), Xu Yuhua (China, 2484), Nana Dzagnidze (Georgia, 2478),  Lilit Mrktchian (Armenia, 2477), Elina Danielian (Armenia, 2473), Shen Yang (China, 2452), Baira  Kovanova (Russia, 2366) and Martha Fierro (Ecuador, 2363).

The first round of the tournament will be held on June 24.
