His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia arrived in Montreal on his way to the G8 Inter-religious Summit Meeting in Winnipeg. He was met by the Prelate of the Diocese of Canada, Archbishop Khajak Hagopian, the Prelates of the Eastern Prelacy in USA, the Prelate of Iran, Bishops, priests, the Lebanese Ambassador in Canada, and members of the Prelacy Council.

Archbishop Khajak Hagopian welcomed His Holiness Aram I, saying he continues to remind the world of the demand for justice of the survivors of the genocide.

From June 24-27, His Holiness will be visiting Toronto. During his stay, His Holiness will be meeting with politicians, diplomats, as well as with religious leaders.
