make preferableArmenia is concerned over the attitude toward some issues adopted by Ukraine within GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova), Naira Zohrabyan, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on European Integration, RA Parliament, stated at her meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Alexander Bozhko.
The Public Relations Department, RA Parliament, told NEWS.am that the sides discussed priority issues of the two countries’ foreign policies, European integration as well as issues related to the cooperation between the EU Eastern Partnership member-states.
Addressing the attitude toward some issues adopted by Ukraine within GUAM, Zohrbyan pointed out they arouse concern. She expressed hope that Ukraine will adopt a more balance attitude toward the issues of importance for Armenia. She expressed the conviction that any problem can be settled by means of discussions and pointed out that a memorandum of parliamentary cooperation between by the RA Parliament and the Ukrainian Supreme Rada signed in 2005 does not actually serve its purpose.
