Azerbaijani Milli Majlis sent letter to the National Council of Slovakia, complaining of Slovakian Parliament MP Frantisek Miklosko’s observer mission in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The letter was addressed to Speaker of Slovakia’s National Council Pavol Paska and signed by 12 parliamentary parties of Azerbaijan, the Armenian Assembly of Europe press service informed NEWS.am. The letter protests against the MP’s having attended the elections in “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic – Azerbaijan’s territory, not recognized by the world community,” without agreeing it with Baku.

Slovakia’s National Council gave no response as earlier it had stated that Frantisek Miklosko was free in his decision to participate in observer mission and the National Council did not find it necessary to express any opinion. In reply to the letter, Frantisek Miklosko announced his intention to present Karabakh’s present and future in Europe more actively.
