The recent act of sabotage by Azerbaijan is not subject to any brands, as immediately followed the Armenia-Russian-Azerbaijani presidential meeting in Saint Petersburg, the French MP Francois Rochebloine stated in an interview with the Public Armenian Television.

The MP stressed this act of sabotage revealed Azerbaijan’s true colors. As to whether that was the result of the international community’s muted response to Azerbaijan’s belligerence, Rochebloine did not rule out such a possibility. The Azerbaijani authorities must have tried to test the international community’s response in this way. Unfortunately, no acute response was given, he stressed.

The MP said the France-Armenia inter-parliamentary friendship group will meet and listen to the Head of the Armenian Representation at the European Union, Ambassador Vigen Chitechyan to specify their actions on the recent developments in the Karabkh conflict zone.

Francois Rochebloine noted on June 30, the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs will hear out French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, and he intends to focus his attention on the current situation in the Karabakh conflict zone. France as an OSCE MG Co-Chair country plays a key role in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and should give a strong and rigorous assessment to the incident, before it is too late, the MP emphasized.
