At its July 1 sitting the RA Government decided to allocate a 101.3 m AMD credit ($276,000) from its reserve fund for Armenia 2010 military exercises to be held by NATO in Armenia.

After the maneuvers NATO will refund 50% of the amount to the Armenian Government, the RA Government’s press service informed NEWS.am.  

Armenia 2010 large-scale maneuvers on eliminating consequences of emergency situations will take place on September 11-17.

A conference on planning “Armenia-2010” joint exercise on eliminating consequences of emergency situations within the framework of NATO “Partnership for Peace” program was launched in Yerevan today.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, a conference on final preparation for the military drills was held in Yerevan on June 22-24.
