The Turkish Foreign Minister reiterated Turkey's precondition: if the Karabakh issue is settled, the Armenian-Turkish relations will be normalized.

Speaking on Turkish TGRT TV channel, Ahmet Davutoglu noted that forthcoming period will be crucial for the South Caucasus. Turkish FM stressed that no desirable and rapid changes were brought about during Armenian-Turkish reconciliation process. In this context, Davutoglu restated that the Armenian-Turkish relations will be normalized when the Karabakh issue is settled.

According to him, they try to prevent tension in the Armenian-Turkish relations. He stated that Clinton's regional visit will be favorable to restore the process, adding that U.S. and Russia have not displayed strong will to settle Armenian-Azerbaijani problems.
