6.5 point earthquake struck Japan. The epicentre shocks were 300km away from Tokyo and several tens of km from the Pacific. No victims and destructions were reported.

American seismologists reported earthquake shocks were recorded on August 13, at 7:48 a.m. local time. According to eyewitnesses large earthquakings were in Tokyo. The tsunami hazard was not reported.
