Goran Lennmarker, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus, thwarted attempts by Azerbaijani delegation to once again raise a question on refugees in the course of the summer session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly held in Oslo. The head of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE PA Aram Safaryan said at the July 14 press conference.

“In response to Azeri’s attempts to raise a question on refugees, Lennmarker coldly noted that Armenians have refugees as well,” Safaryan stated, adding that Lennmarker’s statement settled the matter.

Speaking of the Karabakh issue, MP stressed that Azerbaijan is sabotaging the Armenian side to urge it on a tougher stance in the negotiation process. “It will give a handle to rejecting the Madrid Principles by the Azerbaijani side,” he added.
