Israel attempts to impede the Russian S-300 anti-aircraft systems supply to Iran in every possible way, Israel mass media reports. Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu offered his Russian counterpart to suspend the deal.

Israeli Minister of Defense meeting a day before in Paris the Chief of the General Staff of RF, General of the Army Nikolai Makarov asked “to interfere and prevent the supply of the weapons”. Israel and U.S. believe, that weapons supply to Iran will have negative consequences on military balance in the region.

Russia, however, earlier in March stating that Iran did not get any weapons, confirmed its intention to fulfill the obligations under the multimillion contract.
