Conflicts should be resolved peacefully in conformity with the international standards without use or threat of force, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan told a press conference held jointly with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
The Armenian leader expressed his gratitude to Russia for understanding the necessity to maintain balance of forces in the region and avert military threats, as well as for its contribution to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In his turn, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev thanked for appraisal of Russia’s role in the peace process, expressing readiness to contribute to finding the ways of conflict's resolution in future within the framework of OSCE and bilateral meetings between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents.
