At about 16.30 p.m., the RA traffic police received a call about a major car accident in the Nor Nork community in Yerevan.

The drivers received bodily injuries and were taken to hospital.

According to the preliminary information, a Dodge Durango with a license plate of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia car drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a LADA 100 and KAMAz. Traffic police officers are working on the site.

Responding to NEWS.am’s question, the U.S. Embassy confirmed the information that the car was with diplomatic number plate. However, it is unclear whether the car belongs to the U.S. Embassy.
