Armenian-American military medical training has started in Yerevan.

The main task is to set up a field hospital the U.S. furnished to the Armenian armed forces.

Before the training, U.S. experts, in cooperation with Armenian specialists, held two-month training courses for the medical and technical staff of the field hospital.

The press service of the RA Ministry of Defense informed NEWS.am that the main aim of the training is raising the level of the field hospital for it to be operable both in and outside Armenia during emergencies and peacekeeping missions.

Representatives of the German military medical service attended the training, which has finished today, August 26.
