There is no point for Azerbaijan in solving Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by force, as it will make the domestic situation more vulnerable, chief editor of Russia-based Agency of Political News Konstantin Krylov stated in an interview with the daily.
Speaking of the Russia’s stance, he stressed Russia remains pro-Armenian judging from the recent developments. According to him, it accounts for traditional ties of the political elite rather than Russia’s geopolitical interests.

The newspaper emphasizes if the hostilities resume, Russia will be a part of them. “This does not mean Russia will interfere in the conflict by all means and deploy troops, it depends on many factors. However, Russia’s economic and diplomatic assistance to Armenia is guaranteed,” Krylov said.
