YEREVAN. - The identity of the man who committed an armed assault in Yerevan and died as a result of stab wounds has been confirmed. According to the source of Armenian News – NEWS.am, the man was Gevorg Sargsyan, 39, who owned a petrol station.

According to the preliminary information, at the moment of the armed assault, the wife and mother-in-law of the Armenian businessman Yura Gharibyan, aka “Shanti Yura,” as well as his children were at home. It’s yet unknown which of the family members stabbed Sargsyan.

Two women were earlier injured as a result of the armed assault in Yerevan. They were taken to “Armenia” Medical Center.
